Introduction:-


Human life is a wondrous journey where we encounter innumerable people, events & cherish a million memories. This Annual Day is a celebration of human emotions, human achievements, human failures and finally the spiritual upliftment of man.


Message from Principal:-

It’s my privilege and pleasure to present the Annual Report for the academic year 202021. 2020 was a year of significant change for our country, community and school with life changing events such as floods and COVID-19. Our school is an example of what leadership with vision, commitment and discipline can achieve.


Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides, knowledge and knowledge makes you great. Development of self along with academic achievement forms the nuclei of all learning process at our school. Growth in academic is a result of the multiple opportunities provided in our school for up graduation of skills and knowledge.


School Life too changed in March when children were kept at homes due to COVID-19 and adopted online mode and resources to continue the learning. Staff moved swiftly to develop online material, audios and videos for each grade and provide online education to meet the vast need of students working in a less social environment.

Message from the School Management:-

We would like to thank all the parents who helped out with the Easter back in March this year. It was a year of success. Although communication with parents had been challenging with parents this year but we got through this critical situation with the joint efforts of parents and staff members.


We worked with full dedication and devotion with a team spirit for the better and upliftment of the school.

Academic Achievements:-

Academic achievements reflect the discipline and skills to perform to the best of one’s ability. The sincere efforts of students in ṭhe CBSE exams brought laurels to the school.

In the class X CBSE examination (2019-20) students scored 45 merits and received merit certificates from CBSE.


Congratulation to all our high achievers.


In XII CBSE 84 students got merits in Science, Commerce, Humanities.


Functions and Events:-

“If the mind is intensely eager, everything can be accomplished-mountains can be crumbled into atoms,” said Swami Vivekananda. A number of activities and functions were organized through out the year via online mode to ensure a better personality development among students as we believe that each child is unique and possesses inherent polential.


Heritage India Quiz Competition:-

Heritage India Quiz Competition was organized from 20th January to 10th February 2021. 46 students participated in it and performed very well.


Observance of Road Safety Month:-

Road safety month was observed form 18th January to 17 February on the theme ‘Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha’. Models were made by the students on this topic.


Teej Celebrations:-

Mehandi competition and salad decoration competition were organized on the occasion of Teej. Rakshit stood first in salad decoration competition and Yashika got 1st position in mehandi competition.


Fancy Dress Competiton:-

Fancy Dress competition was organized by classes of 3rd and 4th. 20 students participated in it.


G.K Quiz Competition:-

G.K Quiz Competiton was organized for the classes of 7th and 8th. 20 students participated in it.


Speech and Debate Competition:-

Speech Competition was held on the Biography of ‘B.R. Ambedkar’ Classes from 6 to 10 participated in it.


Drawing Competition:-

Students and teachers also participated on the topic of ‘Efficient Resourcing and Effective, Governance through the school complex.


Presentation was also given on the above topic


Poem Competition :-

A poem competition was held on the occasion of 15th Aug. Students of 3rd to 8th classes participated in it.


Baisakhi celebration:-

Tiny Tots of K.G class participated in a dance competition bhangra was special item of the day.


Celebration of national science day:-

National science day was celebrated in school on 28 feb to mark the discovery of sir C.V Raman. Science quiz , poster making competition and speech competition were organized on this day. Classes from IV to X participated in it.


Other activities:-


Inter school quiz competition:-

Environment degeneration has become one of the major concerns today. To generate awareness about the environment , the science department organised an inter school competition. Jiya, Vanshika and Krish showed their excellence by winning this competition.


Independence and republic day celebrations:-

The school celebrated independence day and republic day with patriotic fervour. Music and dance performance followed the hoisting og the national flag.


Techer’s day celebration :-

Teacher’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Besides, a special assembly was organised by the students.


Christmas celebrations:-

The entire school vibrated with the echoes of X’mas carots sung by the school. Choir beautiful X’Mas tree were made by the students.


Sports:-


National combat wrestling championship :-

Himanshu of class VIIIth won gold medal and vikas of class X won silver medal in national combat wrestling championship.


National wrestling competition:-

Ansh of XII arts won Bronze medal in national wrestling competition.


Weight lifting:-

Gourav from class XII arts got first position and won gold medal in weight lifting.


Marathon race and cycling race :-

Marathon race and cycling race were also organised by the state. Maximum students participated in it.


Enrichment programmes for students and teachers:-

Workshops and seminars encourage new ideas and facilitate innovation, experimentation, knowledge, skills and personality development. A number of enrichment programmes for students and teachers were organised.


Workshops for teachers:-

Free online training course on experiential learning and competency based education were attended by the teachers on Diksha platform. Webinar series on NEP was also attended by maximum teachers.


Learning time for students:-

Students participated in the next expression series in the CBSE on the theme of students perspectives on teaching and learing dated 6th 2021 to 28th feb 2021. JIya , Himanshi, Naman and Nitin jindal got certificates by CBSE.


India Toy Fair:-

The government of india organis the india toy fair 2021 from 27th feb to 2nd march 2021on a virtual platform. Maximum no. of students parents and teachers visited this fair.



Conclusion:


Our aim is to be one of the leading schools in the community it serves, known and widely acknowledged as a secular institution which develops character and ethical leadership in its students in their pursuit of excellence.


We hope Maharaja Agrasain Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sirsa will recognize as a model for excellence in academic, art, culture and sports. Each student will demonstrate a spirit of respect, responsibility and a commitment to academic and civic excellence.
